Ο Μπόρις Τζόνσον εγκαταλείπει την απειλή για μια άτακτη έξοδο του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου από την ΕΕ, καθώς δεν περιλαμβάνεται στο εκλογικό μανιφέστο του Συντηρητικού Κόμματος ενόψει των πρόωρων βουλευτικών εκλογών της 12ης Δεκεμβρίου.

Σύμφωνα με τα όσα γράφει σήμερα η βρετανική εφημερίδα Times, ο Βρετανός πρωθυπουργός θα επικεντρωθεί στο να επιτύχει την έγκριση της συμφωνίας του με την Ε.Ε. για το Brexit.

Ο Μπόρις Τζόνσον είχε δεσμευτεί πολλάκις, κατά το παρελθόν, για την αποχώρηση της Βρετανίας από την Ε.Ε. με ή χωρίς συμφωνία στις 31 Οκτωβρίου. Ωστόσο το βρετανικό κοινοβούλιο τον υποχρέωσε να ζητήσει παράταση της διαδικασίας ως τις 31 Ιανουαρίου.
